Stroudsburg

STROUDSBURG, 34.6 m. (420 alt., 5,961 pop.) (see Tour 10A), is at the junction with US 611 (see Tour 10A). Varied farming country, dotted with large barns and attractive farmhouses, lies west of Stroudsburg. The Blue Mountains (L) parallel the meandering highway; roadside establishments, summer colonies, and crossroads hamlets line the route.
